S.Korea: Moon cheered by supporters after exit poll predicts win

Left-leaning former human rights lawyer Moon Jae-In won South Korea’s presidential election by a landslide Tuesday, according to an exit poll, sealing the momentum for change after a tumultuous scandal. Soon after the exit poll was released, Moon’s supporters gathered in Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul, where millions of people had taken part in candlelit demonstrations to demand Park Geun-Hye’s removal.
