Marty Brink is the Chief Technology Officer for Poseidon. Marty has over 28 years of experience a variety of fields ranging from Radio Frequency (RF)/Electronics, Software Developer, to Information Technology solutions architect supporting commercial and government industries. Marty also served 14 years in the United States Army including two active duty combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and holds an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Marty’s engineering and architecting experience in information technology has enhanced multiple organizations IT departments towards a more robust undelaying infrastructure through the implementation of Virtualization, Storage and Compute solutions. Marty has played a key role in multiple datacenter migrations for On-Premise, Cloud, and/or Hybrid infrastructures including deployment of a popular Geospatial Information System for real-time weather data storage, analytics, and dissemination on Amazon Web Services.
Marty also brings the expertise of business development, as demonstrated by his effectiveness in a number of successful DoD contract acquisitions.
Marty’s education includes an Associate’s degree in Engineering from St. Petersburg College. Additionally, he holds a variety of well-respected certifications such as Security+ from CompTIA, Sun Solaris 10 Systems Administration and is an expert in C#, C++, Java, Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions, Amazon Cloud Services, Agile software development, and RF Engineering.
